Our Beef
Do you administer any antibiotics or vaccines to your cattle?
We vaccinate our cows with Bovishield Gold and our calves with Enforce 3. These vaccines ensure overall herd health and they are both accepted by both the Beef Cares and the GAP4 Programs we’re certified by.
Does your cattle receive any mRNA vaccines?
We do not administer mRNA Vaccines to our cattle and we have no intentions of doing so in the future.
Does your meat contain GMOs, preservatives, or antibiotics?
Our beef is 100% GMO, preservative, and antibiotic free.
What breed of cows do you raise?
Our herd is crossbred with lines of Angus, SimAngus, and Brahmas. We carefully choose between the lines of all of these breeds health and hardiness of our herd, while also prioritizing the taste and texture of the beef we produce.
Do you process your animals yourselves?
Our meat animals are processed in Jefferson, Georgia at a family-owned, USDA-inspected facility called Potts Meats. This is the only traveling our cows ever do, and the trip is kept very short. This prioritizes the health and comfort of the cows while also supporting another local agricultural business.
Is your beef grass-fed?
Our cows are grass-fed and grain-finished. This means that they have free access to high-quality grass for their entire lives. For a few weeks before processing, they are given the option to eat high-quality, nutrient-dense grains as well. This improves the marbling and the flavor of the meat, while never compromising on the health or comfort of the cattle.
Do your cows ever live on a feedlot?
Our cows never see a feedlot. They only ever live on our farm.
